Abstract

GUEVARA ESTACIO, María Emilia; OMANA MONTERO, Macringer del Valle  and  VIVAS ESCALANTE, Amely Dolibeth. OF GAMIFIED DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO STRENGTHEN AUTONOMOUS LEARNING IN CIVIL CONSTRUCTION STUDENTS AT AIEP PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE. Aula Virtual [online]. 2025, vol.6, n.13, e573.  Epub Dec 30, 2025. ISSN 2665-0398.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18390120.

The integration of digital technologies in higher education offers new opportunities to foster autonomous learning from an inclusive and active approach. This study presents the implementation of gamified strategies using the Blackboard learning management system (LMS) as a platform for instructional organization, and the Wordwall application as a resource for designing interactive and accessible activities. The intervention was carried out in the “Civil Works Workshop” module of the Civil Construction program at the AIEP Professional Institute in Talca, Maule Region, Chile, involving sixth-semester students who participated in didactic proposals aimed at strengthening autonomy and enhancing the virtual learning experience. The results, obtained through diagnostic instruments, questionnaires and evaluations, show significant improvements in student motivation, content comprehension, and the development of autonomous learning. The study concludes that the intentional use of gamified digital resources in virtual environments not only promotes active student engagement but also contributes to inclusive education and the development of key competencies in technical and vocational training contexts.
