The purpose of this article was to postulate a new program design for growth and development in the infant stage in Peru. As a methodology, a qualitative approach based on grounded theory was used. Four experts specialized in public health were interviewed. Among the results, the participants highlighted categories such as: strengths of the CRED Program, weaknesses of the CRED Program, beneficiaries' needs, beneficiaries' expectations, perception of the Quality of Care, use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), among others. It was pointed out that, in times of pandemic, there was absenteeism to children's check-ups. Therefore, it was concluded that there was a need to adapt to a new reality by means of a program that would strengthen home health with a hybrid methodology and with the support of technology.
