The objective of this study was to evaluate the possibility of improving the Business Support Fund (FAE) for Tourism in the province of Cusco, in order to identify progress in interest rates, payment periods, guarantees offered and credit risk management, aligned with SDG17: partnership to achieve the goals in the activities of lodging and travel agencies. The methodology was applied with a non-experimental propositional design. Interviews were conducted with managers and operators of financial entities through structured guides. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis were used. As a result, the evaluation revealed that the leaders rated the system's management positively, although they pointed out criticisms in some areas. As a conclusion, although the FAE Tourism was a vital post-pandemic support, it is considered essential to readjust its structures in response to the dynamic needs of MSEs.
