HUICAB-GARCIA, Yhadira; BUENO-FERNANDEZ, Mario Mitsuo; MACIAS-CATAGUA, Otto Wagner y PIN, Karla Rosanna Marcillo. Strategic alignment between organizational culture and corporate social responsibility. A study on critical factors. Gestio et Productio [online]. 2025, vol.7, n.13, pp.155-171. Epub 25-Dic-2025. Currently, many companies implement corporate social responsibility policies, but these are not always aligned with the organizational culture of the company, generating disconnections between what is projected and what employees perceive. This lack of coherence leads to a decrease in employee commitment and leads to the idea that corporate social responsibility is only a marketing strategy. Therefore, identifying the critical factors that influence the strategic alignment between organizational culture and Corporate Social Responsibility for the sustainable performance of organizations is the objective of the research. For this purpose, a non-experimental design was applied, with a mixed cross-sectional approach and descriptive scope in 525 Ecuadorian and Mexican companies. The combination of methods made it possible to identify not only the critical factors, but also the levels of importance and the key dimensions for achieving effective alignment.
Palabras clave : Corporate Social Responsibility; organizational culture; critical factors; strategic alignment.
