The purpose of this article is to analyze the relationship between corporate social responsibility and the competitiveness of construction companies in Trujillo, Peru. Using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and a correlational-causal scope, a structured questionnaire was administered to 115 construction companies. Statistical analysis was performed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient with SPSS v.26 software. The results show a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between the two variables (r = 0.837; p = 0.000). Among the dimensions analyzed, legal responsibility shows the highest correlation (r = 0.843), followed by ecological (r = 0.799), ethical (r = 0.775) and economic (r = 0.768). It is concluded that organizations that integrate their social responsibility commitments in a coordinated manner achieve a superior competitive position, demonstrating a synergistic effect between their constituent dimensions.
