The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of the modernization of public management on the labor productivity of the Local Educational Management Unit (UGEL 04) located in the district of Comas, city of Lima, Peru, during the year 2023. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach and a basic non-experimental design, with a correlational-causal level. The study sample consisted of 140 employees of the public entity, who were administered two data collection instruments: surveys and questionnaires with ordinal scales. The validity of the instruments was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient, obtaining results of 0.92 for public management and 0.94 for labor productivity. The results revealed that the majority of employees perceive that the modernization of public management has a significant impact, with 52.2% of them rating it as very high. In addition, 32.1% of employees rated labor productivity as high. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that the modernization of public management has a positive influence on the labor productivity of the Local Educational Management Unit 04 Lima, Peru, during the year 2023.
