Abstract

The general objective of this research work was to determine how the application of the "COMMUNICATE" program improves critical thinking in students of the third grade of the primary level of the educational institution No. 81017 "Santa Edelmira de Trujillo in the year 2022. The type of research is applied with a quantitative approach and the design was quasi-experimental. The technique used is the survey and the questionnaire as an instrument, consisting of 13 items corresponding to the dimensions of the critical thinking variable. The sample consisted of 51 students. The results obtained with the Mann-Whitney U test were p (0.000). Hence, it was concluded that the application of the "COMMUNICATE" program significantly improves critical thinking in primary school students.
