Abstract
ZEBALLOS HURTADO, Nilton Juan and COSI BLANCAS, Arturo Jesús. Remote control of sequences in electro-pneumatic systems: a review of the literature. Revista InveCom [online]. 2024, vol.4, n.2, e040235. Epub June 24, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10621627.
One of the most important aspects of automated systems, in today's industries, is the speed of response to the orders given. To this end, it is essential that these systems have the appropriate technology in order to be able to respond to the demands imposed by manufacturers, remote controls being one of the factors that are considered as the cornerstone of any automated circuit, so their evolution has brought with it a wide variety of options for structuring electro-pneumatic circuits. This article reviews the evolution of remotely controlled electro-pneumatic systems, focusing on the operating principles of current devices and their application in different actuator control circuits. This work will show the different areas addressed by other authors, promoting the dissemination of the different applications that devices designed for remote sequence control currently have. All this will contribute to strengthening the knowledge of professionals related to this area of engineering and will help in the design of new applications.
