A non-probabilistic sampling was used, identifying 75 students who dropped out of the biology career who were surveyed. The results highlight a negative trend towards early dropouts, with a considerable number of students dropping out in the first few years. Socioeconomic, personal, and academic factors significantly influenced dropout.
