Abstract
ROJAS, María Paula and CHAVEZ VERA, Kerwin José. Determining factors for the success of university ventures. Revista InveCom [online]. 2024, vol.4, n.2, e040239. Epub June 24, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10625673.
The article addressed the factors that determine the success of university ventures and understand the barriers some students face when trying to establish businesses. A positivist study based on a quantitative approach using the descriptive method was carried out, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional field research design, with a sample of 194 university students of the administration and entrepreneurship career of the San Ignacio de Loyola University. The results showed that innovation is considered the most important factor for the success of entrepreneurship, followed by human capital and entrepreneurial skills. In addition, a diversity of opinions was observed among the respondents regarding the role of institutional support in the success of entrepreneurship. It is recommended that universities improve the clarity and communication of their programs, continuously evaluate and adjust their services, foster the confidence of entrepreneurs through long-term engagement, and collaborate with other relevant actors to offer more comprehensive and effective support.
