The present research is aimed at determining the incidence of cognitive games in the learning of curricular block 2 oral communication in the third grade of Basic General Education parallel "A", Educational Unit "Manuel Cabrera Lozano", a descriptive research was used with a mixed approach and quasi-experimental design, the following methods were used: scientific, descriptive, analytical, synthetic and statistical, the collection of information was carried out through a diagnostic evaluation and an interview with the teacher, the investigated population includes twenty-one students and one teacher of the Manuel Cabrera Lozano Educational Unit of the third parallel grade "A", to improve the results of the diagnosis, the proposal "Play, learn and excel" was executed, based on workshops using cognitive games. After its execution, a second evaluation was applied and They recorded notable improvements in the development of oral communication.
