The present research aims to determine the symptomatology and levels of anxiety and work stress in workers of a health center in the context of Covid 19. A cross-sectional-descriptive study was carried out in 2022, with a quantitative approach and non-experimental design, the sample was made up of 60 professionals from a health center in Peru. The technique used for data collection was the survey, for the elaboration of results descriptive statistical techniques were used that included percentages and frequencies, using double-entry graphs and tables. 52% showed mild anxiety as a trait, 60% mild anxiety as a state, and 90% low levels of work stress, and only 10% showed work stress at a medium level. High levels of state-trait anxiety were not found, nor of work stress, this could be explained from various factors such as resilience, adaptive capacity and coping strategies to stress, however, we can observe a strong tendency of health personnel to experience mild anxiety symptoms such as irritability, attention difficulties, fatigue, muscle tension, insomnia traits and restlessness that must be addressed at the level of primary prevention.
