GUARANDA SUAREZ, Elaine Julissa; GOMEZ FREIRE, Fátima Inés and FREIRE ACOSTA, Johanna Stephania. Teachers’ perspectives & experience: innovating educational practices through a digital environment. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501030. Epub Nov 18, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11088777.
The digital environment has changed teachers’ perspectives & experiences. It is essential to admit that technology allows innovation to perform educational practices in the current online classrooms. The purpose of this article is to bring forth a transformative shift, offering opportunities and challenges to teachers and students alike. Therefore, the beginning of a new educational system to teach students starts with teaching in a digital environment, the development of digital educational content to teach the four skills such as listening, reading, speaking, writing, and assessment through technology. To reach this goal, we have implemented a survey for a quantitative analysis, providing a perception of teachers from different high schools on the importance of introducing digital learning to teach English as a second language. As a result, this evolution in education is essential for preparing students to thrive in a digital age, equipping them with future-ready skills and enhancing engagement through innovative learning approaches. Moving forward, the effective integration of asynchronous and synchronous teaching strategies offers a dynamic framework for personalized and collaborative learning experiences.
