ZEVALLOS DE LAS CASAS, Luisa Ines; CHAVEZ NAVARRO, Juan Roberto; CASTANEDA SANCHEZ, Magda Isabel and ENGRACIO SALINAS, Jorge Aurelio. Attitudes towards teamwork and decision making in management students. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501041. Epub Dec 05, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11177056.
Teamwork skills and adequate decision making are the most desired competencies by employers. The objective of the study was to establish the relationship between attitudes towards teamwork and decision making in management students. The approach used was quantitative, with a cross-sectional non-experimental design and correlational scope. The population consisted of 220 management students, a sample of 200 students and with intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The instruments were validated and reliable. The reliability of teamwork attitudes was 0.900 and the reliability of the decision-making variable was 0.902, presenting high reliability. Spearman's Rho correlation test will be performed, which is a useful statistical tool to analyze the relationship between attitudes toward teamwork and decision making in management students. It was concluded that attitudes towards teamwork are related to decision making in management students and it was confirmed that, the better the attitudes towards teamwork, the better the levels of decision making in management students, or, low levels of attitudes towards teamwork, inadequate levels of decision making in management students.
