Abstract

CABRERA LEON, Sandra Fabiola et al. Effective Methods for the Integration of Students with Special Needs. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501046.  Epub Dec 05, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11264156.

This study examines effective strategies for the inclusion of students with special needs in regular educational settings, emphasizing the importance of curricular adaptations and pedagogical strategies. Through a descriptive methodology and surveys of 102 teachers, current perceptions and practices related to educational inclusion are explored. The results indicate a high familiarity with inclusion, although they highlight significant challenges such as lack of resources and adequate training. Teachers value collaboration between parents and educators and recognize diversity and equitable opportunities as the main benefits of inclusion. This work contributes to the understanding and improvement of inclusive practices, suggesting the need to strengthen institutional support and teacher training in this area.
