The regular updating of educational tools is essential to align them with the innovations and changes that modern society is going through. Despite its relevance, this is not usually applied in a timely manner, which leads many pedagogical models to verge on obsolescence in a context marked by the constant irruption of new technologies and practices. Such a situation is a problem worthy of study, as proposed by this work framed in the design of a methodological route for the implementation of a pedagogical model in the educational institutions of locality No. 3 of the District of Santa Marta in Colombia. This research was framed in a descriptive-projective methodology with a non-experimental quantitative approach, considering a sample made up of 137 participants between directors and teachers from three schools selected in a non-probabilistic way, to which a survey-type questionnaire was applied consisting of 58 items on a Likert scale. The responses led to multiple findings, such as the identification of educational practices currently developed by teachers in the classrooms, which are far from the theory embodied in the pedagogical models in force in the institutions analyzed, which evidenced a significant discrepancy between pedagogical theory and practices.
