Abstract
OLMEDO RODRIGUEZ, Esteban Patricio et al. Teacher motivation as a fundamental pillar of educational excellence. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501061. Epub Dec 05, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11491705.
This study examines the relationship between teacher motivation and educational quality in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. The aim is to identify factors that influence teachers' motivation and propose strategies to improve it. A cross-sectional quantitative design was used with a structured survey applied to 100 teachers. The results indicate that a positive internal environment, administrative support, professional recognition and development opportunities are crucial for teacher motivation. Factors such as reduced class sizes, effective leadership, a collaborative environment, and recognition of teacher work are also essential. The research shows that motivation directly influences the quality of teaching, suggesting that the implementation of effective administrative practices adapted to the educational context can significantly improve teacher motivation and, therefore, educational quality.
