Resumen

GUAMAN GUALLPA, Viviana Del Pilar  y  BAEZ SEPULVEDA, Myriam. Impact of neuroeducation through ICT on the development of reading competence in elementary school students. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501066.  Epub 05-Dic-2024. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11554958.

This article explores the integration of neuroeducation and information and communication technologies (ICTs) in teaching reading competence to upper elementary students. Using a bibliographic review methodology, recent studies were examined to assess how these combined strategies enhance reading comprehension and develop critical thinking skills. Major academic databases were consulted to gather relevant research, focusing on articles that directly integrated ICTs and neuroeducational principles. Findings indicate that personalized learning through ICTs, aligned with neuroscience-based strategies, facilitates more effective and engaging teaching. Additionally, the limitations of current studies are discussed, and recommendations for future research are proposed. These include the need for teacher training in neuroeducation and technology, longitudinal studies to assess long-term impacts, and policies to ensure equitable access to these technologies.

Palabras clave : neuroeducation; reading competence; information and communication technologies.
