Abstract

PERALTA ORTEGA, Yeni Sandra; NUNEZ-LIRA, Luis Alberto  and  OCANA-FERNANDEZ, Yolvi Javier. Cooperative learning, social skills and digital competences in students of a pedagogical higher education school. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501079.  Epub Dec 11, 2024. This article analyzes how cooperative learning and social skills influence digital skills in students at a Higher Pedagogical Education School. Methodologically, a mixed research approach with applied typology was adopted. Students participated in the mathematics course at the EESP “La Inmaculada” in Camaná, Arequipa, from two classrooms for comparative purposes, amounting to a total of 44 students. The results showed data for the post test, with ranges of 13.39 from the control group and 31.61 from the experimental group, in addition to the value of U=41.5 with Z=-4.734 and p-value of 0.000, which show significant differences. It is concluded that 15.9% of students in the control group and 45.5% in the experimental group are at the level of achievement of digital competence. Likewise, only 4.5% represented by 2 students from the experimental group show a level of non-expected achievement in contrast to the 45.5% who achieved digital competence.
