The issue of digital competences in university teachers has been of great relevance in the knowledge society. This research seeks to explain the influence of the conceptions, development and value of digital competencies on Peruvian university professors. Between 2015 and 2022, a systematic review of indexed articles related to the topic was carried out in the Scopus, Scielo, Dialnet, Redalyc, and Ebsco databases. The search equation found 25 articles organized by years, study focus, and countries. Concluding that there is a significant increase in scientific articles on digital competencies due to the training of teachers and their reflection process.
