Abstract

IBANEZ-FAICHIN, Carmen Rosa; MEDINA-GARAGATE, Elvis Leonardo  and  JIMENEZ-HUALPA, Victoria Georgina. The emotional state and its impact on the current learning of students in primary level. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501099.  Epub Dec 02, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12676536.

Human beings have the ability to share emotions, which means they possess the talent of empathy. Nowadays, the study of the emotional state has become fundamental in education. Several researchers have explored the importance of cultivating this skill to improve students' social-emotional development. Daniel Goleman has been especially relevant in the global dissemination of this concept through various publications. The research is framed in a basic approach, uses quantitative, non-experimental methods and is located at a correlational level with a hypothetical deductive method. The information collection was carried out through surveys that included two questionnaires, which were validated by experts using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results of the study found that attitudinal learning and the emotional state of students in a Public Educational Institution are positively and significantly linked (rs = 0.704, sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). The importance of strengthening both the emotional state and attitudinal learning, both of teachers and students, is highlighted in order to better develop learning.

Keywords : attitudes; learning; emotional education.
