Abstract

CHAVEZ ORDINOLA, Liliana Tomaza; LOZANO LEVANO, César  and  CAJAVILCA LAGOS, Wilder Oswaldo. Human resource management in the public sector: a systematic review. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.1, e501101.  Epub Dec 02, 2024. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12734758.

Human resource management is crucial to ensure that the public sector, in its commitment to society in its various facets, can efficiently and effectively fulfill its objectives. Documentary research was conducted to systematically analyze documents related to human resource management in the public sector. The methodology used relied on the PRISMA statement to retrieve information through search engines such as Latindex, Google Scholar, Dialnet, SciELO, and Redalyc. The specific selection criteria were: research disseminated between 2017 and 2024, primary studies and reviews, documents in Spanish, open access articles, and those containing at least one of the indicated descriptors. It was concluded that the proper management of human talent is essential not only to guarantee the efficient functioning of state entities but also directly impacts employee satisfaction, optimization of public services, and the fulfillment of organization-established goals.
