Resumen

SOLANO CASTRO, Valia Vanessa  y  NUNEZ LIRA, Luis. Technostress in higher education students. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502018.  Epub 15-Feb-2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12809775.

Technostress and its effects are widely studied in the workplace; however, due to devices and digital resources used in the teaching-learning process, his research in the educational ecosystem is recent. Objective: to determine the levels of perception of technostress according to the demographic characteristics of the student in a blended educational environment. Methodology: A sample of 551 high school students was given the context-specific RED-TIC questionnaire, with content validity, consistency, and reliability for its application (two-halves model 0.753; KMO 0.72 and significance level 0.000). Results: The data were subjected to a descriptive and chi-square analysis. Levels of perception of technostress were observed 51.72% low, 45.74%, moderate and 2.54% high. Between technostress and study cycle (α=0.05, asymptotic significance 0.024), technostress and technological device used to study (α = 0.05, asymptotic significance 0.031). Conclusion: associations were found in the majority of students with technostress, who use the cell phone as a technological device for their studies.
