Abstract
RAMIREZ TIRADO, Manie Yisell; GANOZA-UBILLUS, Lucila María; FAYA SALAS, Pedro Miguel and FALEN GUERRERO, Patricia Haydee. Relationship between the ecological model and environmental culture in the municipality of Chongoyape district. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502035. Epub Feb 15, 2025. The objective of the research developed is to determine the relationship between the ecological model and the environmental culture in the municipality of the district of Chongoyape. Regarding its design, it is classified as a cross-sectional study and a quantitative approach based on a non-experimental research design has been chosen. The results obtained indicate a significant positive correlation between the ecological model and the environmental culture, with a correlation coefficient of 0.679, significant at the level of 0.001. This correlation suggests that the adoption of an ecological model can have a notable impact on improving environmental culture within the community. Although there is a basic environmental awareness, it is observed that this awareness does not consistently translate into sustainable actions. The quantitative analysis reveals the need for more effective educational interventions and awareness programs to align and strengthen the environmental culture in the community. In conclusion, the importance of implementing strategies that reinforce environmental culture and promote sustainable development in the peasant community of Chongoyape is highlighted. These recommendations aim to improve the connection between environmental awareness and practical actions to achieve a positive and lasting impact on the community.
