The main objective of this article has been to analyze the levels of development of recreational activities in basic education students in Babahoyo in 2024. A bibliographic review was carried out using the PRISMA matrix for the selection of articles, which at first consisted of 45 articles, ending in 36 selected articles with which the analysis has been carried out to meet the objectives set. The results showed that the application of games has a medium to high efficiency in educational contexts, exceeding 50%; In the same way, the main activities developed are: role development, team games, story creation and experiments.
