This research work is aimed at determining the incidence of significant curricular adaptations in the teaching and learning process for students with intellectual disabilities, since it is vitally important to serve those who need to be included equitably within the educational system. To this end, it is intended that teachers put into practice significant curricular adaptations that motivate students to learn in an interactive and inclusive way. To substantiate the importance of the topic in question, the methodology was applied through questionnaires, aimed at teachers and interviews with the authorities of the institution. The pertinent and necessary information was collected for the analysis and interpretation of results, concluding that teachers need to receive training on the development of curricular adaptations focused on meaningful, dynamic and interactive learning, and in this way acquire the ability to function effectively in each one. of the situations that arise in daily life.
