MORAN BARRIONUEVO, Mercy Miriam. Neuro-linguistic programming for language learning in secondary education students in Ecuador. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502068.  Epub 17-Mar-2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13830445.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a learning model that supports the modification of behaviors and cognitive patterns to achieve specific goals, using techniques that optimize language processing. This study explores the application of NLP in the context of language teaching through a systematic review based on the PRISMA model. Fifteen articles published in the last five years were analyzed, the study examines the interaction between NLP principles, key factors in language acquisition and neurolinguistic techniques. The analysis focuses on their application in foreign language teaching, communication, health and educational institutions. The results underline the potential of integrating NLP techniques into different educational levels and disciplines, highlighting its versatility to enhance the learning experience. The findings suggest that NLP not only improves language learning outcomes, but also the communication skills and cognitive flexibility of students. They also point to the importance of adopting NLP to develop effective pedagogical strategies that support the diverse needs of learners and promote a more adaptive and responsive learning environment.
