NASIMBA LOYA, Ana Gabriela; GARCIA NARVAEZ, Pedro Arturo  y  OJEDA OJEDA, José Jairo. Impact of educational strategies based on multiple intelligences on academic performance. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502069.  Epub 17-Mar-2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13840352.

The study focuses on analyzing educational strategies based on the theory of multiple intelligences, applied to high school students. This theory, proposed by Howard Gardner, argues that students possess diverse abilities and ways of learning, which requires varied pedagogical methods to meet their particular needs. The main purpose is to evaluate the impact of these educational strategies on academic achievement in the Ecuadorian context. For this purpose, a systematic review of the available scientific literature was carried out, using the PRISMA methodology to analyze previous studies. The results show interesting patterns and significant differences among the authors studied, highlighting the diversification of skills and preferences as students progress in their education. Variations were also observed in the valuation of certain types of intelligence among the different authors. It is concluded that the application of strategies based on multiple intelligences can have a positive effect on the academic performance of high school students. However, a deeper understanding of their implementation in various educational settings is required. It is suggested that teachers adopt more comprehensive and flexible pedagogical approaches in the classroom, incorporating multiple intelligences in their activities and teaching plans, and promoting a cooperative and supportive environment. In addition, the importance of continuing research in this field to optimize educational practice is highlighted.
