Abstract

CHAVEZ CARRAZCO, Cecilia Marcelina; CHAVEZ, Zandra Cecilia Christina Francia; NAVARRO NAVARRO, Bertha Consuelo  and  RODRIGUEZ-BARBOZA, Jhonny Richard. Optimization of the Management of Tutoring and Educational Guidance through Pedagogical Technical Assistance. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, a502070.  Epub Mar 17, 2025. This qualitative research, under the case study approach, aimed to understand the perceptions of educational actors on the management of Tutoring and Educational Guidance (TOE) and pedagogical technical assistance (ATP) in a secondary educational institution. For data collection, the technique of in-depth interviews with a structured script was used. The interviews were conducted through the Microsoft Teams platform, recorded, transcribed and analyzed using the data triangulation technique. The results show that pedagogical technical assistance is not being provided in a timely manner or with the required quality. This has led to a lack of sustainable and effective spaces for strengthening the capacities of classroom teachers, TOE coordinators and specialists at UGEL, DRE and national level. As a result, the quality of TOE management is affected, negatively impacting the socioemotional and cognitive well-being of students.
