ZARAGOZA ALVARADO, Guillermo Alejandro. Criminal aspects related to cyberbullying in high school students. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e052073. Epub 17-Mar-2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13851620.
The use of ICT among adolescents has generated negative implications, since these tools, in addition to allowing communication, are used to practice various attacks, which is evidenced by the reform of laws and codes to establish sanctions for these events. Hence, the objective of this study was to analyze the criminal aspects related to cyberbullying in students of Higher Secondary Education (EMS) in Guanajuato and Aguascalientes, considering the legal implications when they commit this type of acts today. This work was approached from a quantitative approach, whose technique for collecting data was the survey, based on a questionnaire that generated reliability through Cronbach's Alpha calculation of .978 (highly reliable), and was applied to a sample of 384 students self-administered online. From the results obtained, it can be identified that 51.30% of the students have been victims of cyberbullying and the most frequent aggression (39.84%) responds to sexual advances or proposals; On the other hand, 96% are not aware of the laws that regulate this type of events, which allows us to conclude that it is necessary to generate an intervention proposal on the current regulation in criminal aspects in the event of events committed by cyberbullying.
