Abstract

CORDOVA VILLAR, Eduardo Arturo. The role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as an educational resource in infants. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502084.  Epub Apr 04, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13877091.

Currently, information and communication technologies (ICT) have become commonplace in various sectors of society, especially in education. It is considered crucial that teachers, especially those working with children, possess digital competencies and apply them in their teaching. The aim of the study is to understand the use of ICT as educational resources for children post-pandemic. The methodology involved a systematic review of various scientific articles published in Scopus, SciELO, and Web of Science, focusing on the theme of ICT tools as educational resources. Ultimately, 16 articles were selected for analysis. In conclusion, the importance of pedagogical training in information technologies for teachers is emphasized. This training often begins during their initial education but may not always be reinforced throughout their careers due to various factors such as economic constraints, gender, and age. The integration of technological resources in the classroom is significant in fostering student motivation and interest in learning, leading to an improvement in their educational achievements.
