Socio-emotional competencies in students in Peru is a topic of great relevance in the educational and social field. Therefore, the objective of this research was to analyze the development of socio-emotional competencies in Peruvian students. The study was based on a descriptive phenomenological approach, using semi-structured interviews carried out with a group of 6 students. The findings obtained contribute to a greater understanding of how these competencies develop in students and highlight the need to implement effective strategies to promote their growth.
