Abstract

SEVILLANO SINCA, Ricardo Jorge; GODOY CEDENO, Carlos Enrique  and  ROCHE ESTEBAN, Breide. Formative evaluation in the virtual school environment. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.2, e502091.  Epub Apr 04, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13905046.

The article describes the importance of adequate formative assessment in virtual school environments during the COVID-19 pandemic. A systematic review of articles in SciELO, Dialnet and Scopus databases was performed, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria through the PRISMA method. Twenty articles published between 2018 and 2023, in Spanish and Portuguese, were selected. It is concluded that evaluation is important throughout the formative process of students to generate significant learning, through the use of technological resources. The teacher should use the results of the assessment to set goals and provide feedback to improve student learning.

Keywords : formative evaluation; virtual environments; meaningful learning; feedback.
