Abstract
CHELE DELGADO, Santiago José et al. Didactics in mathematics for students at the middle level of education. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e050304. Epub Mar 09, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14015203.
The present research work, entitled “Didactics in middle level students in the city of Guayaquil, school year 2024”, systematizes its content as a didactic proposal to achieve the learning required at the middle level of education and contribute to the development of skills and abilities in the area of mathematics in students, with the support of middle level teachers in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The study began with a documentary review of the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) evaluations and the repository of the National Institute for Educational Evaluation (INEVAL), the results of which were not very satisfactory. In this way, documents were compiled to identify findings on didactics applied to contextualized problem situations, in order to facilitate the development of strategies and improve mathematics learning. The type of research adopted in this study is a documentary approach, supported by a research level based on the systematic review of 20 academic articles from different scientific repositories. To achieve the objectives, we will review the dimensions and implications of various research findings, which indicate that mathematics learning is significantly enhanced when didactics is the methodological basis of teaching, linked to everyday contexts. This contextualized approach makes it easier for students to increase both their motivation and their understanding of mathematics.
