Abstract

NUNEZ ROJAS, Kelly Dafve et al. Intrinsic motivation and entrepreneurial capacity in university management students. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e050307.  Epub Mar 09, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14020162.

The main objective was to determine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and the entrepreneurial capacity of students in the professional career of administration at a private university in Lima in 2023. The methodology was quantitative, correlational, descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 100 students, to whom the questionnaires were applied for the intrinsic motivation variable, with a total of 18 items and a Likert scale, and for the entrepreneurial capacity variable with a total of 18 items and a Likert scale. The findings reveal that there is a positive, direct and high relationship between intrinsic motivation and entrepreneurial ability with an rho = 0.873. Likewise, it is evident that the p-value is less than 1% and is considered highly significant.

Keywords : intrinsic motivation; entrepreneurial skills; success-oriented actions.
