This article examines the impact of school principal leadership on improving student learning in educational institutions. Its main objective is to analyze how the role of school principals positively influences teaching practices and, consequently, students' academic achievements. The methodology used is based on a documentary review, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to select 12 relevant articles. The results show that effective school principal leadership promotes high-quality pedagogical practices, creating an educational environment that favors meaningful learning. In conclusion, this study confirms that the pedagogical leadership of school principals is an essential factor in improving academic performance, strengthening educational quality through strategic and collaborative management in the school environment.
