CORDOVA VERDUGO, Silvana Verónica; AILLON ALBAN, Juan Carlos  e  MALDONADO PALACIOS, Israel Alejandro. Continuous training in labor productivity. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e050316.  Epub 11-Mar-2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14051865.

Continuous training is a key element to improve labor productivity and promote organizational development. This study analyzes how training is implemented in Ecuadorian companies, the benefits observed, the barriers they face, and its impact on productivity. The objective is to analyze the impact of continuous training on labor productivity in Ecuadorian companies. To carry out the analysis, data were collected from Ecuadorian businessmen through interviews to establish their experiences with continuous training, evaluating implementation methods, perceived benefits, barriers encountered and the influence of training on productivity. The findings show that, in general, Ecuadorian companies implement training programs through workshops and online platforms. Among the benefits observed are improvements in performance and employee engagement, while the main barriers include costs and logistical challenges. Training has had a positive impact on operational efficiency and team cohesion, although its influence on innovation and organizational resilience was less evident compared to studies conducted in other international contexts. To maximize the potential of continuous training in Ecuador, it is necessary to integrate it into the organizational culture and adapt the programs to the specific capabilities of each company.
