FLORES LIMA, Gloria Ruth et al. Impact of educational leadership on job satisfaction and academic performance. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e050352. Epub 14-Abr-2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14292056.
This study analyzes the impact of educational leadership on job satisfaction and academic performance from the perspective of 180 teachers in basic and secondary education institutions. Using a mixed-methods approach, surveys and interviews were conducted to identify the most valued leadership styles. The results show that transformational and distributed leadership styles have a positive correlation with teacher satisfaction and student performance. Conversely, autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles are associated with lower levels of satisfaction and performance. It is concluded that the implementation of participatory and collaborative leadership is key to improving educational quality.
