Abstract

This article analyzes the environmental impact generated by companies, addressing its causes and consequences through data and studies supported by publications indexed in Scopus. The main objective is to evaluate the effect of implementing a sustainable business model, as well as to identify key practices and their benefits. To do this, the systematic PRISMA methodology was used, selecting articles from databases such as Scopus and SciELO. The results highlight how the adoption of sustainable processes and practices allows companies to operate in a reliable and environmentally friendly manner. In addition, the potential long-term benefits of these practices are emphasized, along with strategies and regulations linked to the legal and rights sphere, which reinforce the commitment to sustainability.
