GOMEZ ROMERO, Clarisa. Indicator model for making decisions in administrative management in health establishments. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e050375. Epub 03-Maio-2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14537969.
Hospital management should focus primarily on the efficient use of available resources to optimize hospital operations and ensure that these health centers meet the expectations and needs of patients. Therefore, the objective of the research was to propose a model of indicators for decision making in administrative management in health facilities. The research methodology was basic, with a descriptive and propositional level, a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach. On the other hand, a population of 70 people and a sample of 56 workers were used, to whom a questionnaire composed of 20 items with a Likert-type scale was applied, validated by expert judgment and with a reliability index of 0.832 determined through Cronbach's Alpha. The results show that 54.5% of EsSalud level II and III hospitals demonstrate a “good” level of management, followed by 41.7% at a regular level and 4.1% at a deficient level. In conclusion, regular management does not facilitate effective control of internal hospital processes. Likewise, poor management leads to problems related to incomplete and biased information, which leads to ineffective decisions. Therefore, it is necessary to propose the indicator model.
