This study examines the influence of soft skills on the teaching work climate, highlighting their importance in professional performance and educational quality. It is based on Goleman's theory of emotional intelligence and Litwin and Stringer's concept of organizational climate. The research emphasizes competencies such as effective communication, empathy, resilience and personal leadership, in the promotion of a collaborative and motivating work environment. The objective is to identify key soft skills in the teaching work climate through a literature review that seeks to improve the work environment. In addition, the importance of a good work climate in education is highlighted through a qualitative systematic review of peer-reviewed scientific articles. Texts published between 2013 and 2023 in databases such as Scopus, Scielo and Dialnet were analyzed. The results show that the development of soft skills fosters effective leadership, improves time management and strengthens interpersonal relationships in educational institutions. They also identify a gap in specific studies on how these competencies influence the teaching work climate in school contexts. This work provides empirical evidence to design training programs aimed at improving the teaching work environment, proposing strategies to address challenges such as lack of resources and infrastructure. Finally, the findings underline that a positive work environment, supported by socioemotional skills, reduces burnout and optimizes the educational experience, benefiting both teachers and students.
