Abstract
FLORES HUAMBO, Grecia Lucía. Teleworking and modernization of the State in the work performance of a government entity. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.3, e0503105. Epub May 25, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14633308.
This study analyzes the influence of telework and state modernization on the work performance of public servants in a Peruvian government entity in 2024. Based on target 8.2 of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8, it seeks to explore how these strategies contribute to improve productivity through technological and organizational innovation. The research design is non-experimental, causal correlational, with a quantitative approach. The sample included 124 public servants selected through simple random probability sampling. The data were collected through a structured questionnaire validated with a Cronbach's Alpha index above 0.86. The analyses, performed with ordinal logistic regression, revealed that telework and state modernization explain 47.3% of the variability in job performance. Among the findings were significant advances in job satisfaction and work-life balance, although weaknesses were identified in staff training and the quality of remote communication. These results underscore the importance of comprehensive strategies that address both technological and organizational challenges to maximize the positive impact of these initiatives in the public sector.
