VILCHEZ FLORES, Mercedes Roxana. Leadership and pedagogical practice in regular basic education teachers. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504037. Epub June 20, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14763965.
The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between managerial leadership and pedagogical practice in teachers of Regular Basic Education in Nuevo Chimbote, in order to contribute to the fulfillment of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 that promotes quality education. The study was carried out from a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design of cross-sectional correlational level, and had a sample of 186 teachers, both appointed and contracted, adding 10% in case of rejection, making a total of 205 participants who were given a test for each variable: Directive Leadership and Pedagogical Practice, allowing the collection of data for statistical treatment. It is concluded that there is a strong positive correlation between managerial leadership and pedagogical practice, while one variable increases, the other tends to increase by 93.6%. 87.6% of the variation in pedagogical practice can be explained with the simple regression model: MODEL: y=33.056+0.365X. In addition, by means of Spearman's non-parametric Rho test, a correlation coefficient of 0.977 was obtained, which indicates that there is a positive and high correlation, that is, the greater the managerial leadership, the greater the pedagogical practice.
Keywords : managerial leadership; pedagogical practice; teaching strategies.
