Abstract
CASTRO CURAY, José Alberto. Management of virtual environments and the teaching-learning process in technological higher education institutes. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504039. Epub June 12, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14787697.
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the management of virtual environments and the teaching-learning process in institutes of technological higher education in Ancash during the year 2024, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal of promoting inclusive, equitable and quality education for all. The methodology used was basic, with a quantitative approach and correlational design. The population consisted of 824 teachers registered in the department of Ancash in 2024, and a probability sample of 201 participants was selected by convenience. For both study variables, two questionnaires were developed and applied, which were validated by three experts and subjected to a pilot test. This made it possible to guarantee reliability by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient, obtaining values of 0.74672 for the variable “management of virtual environments” and 0.88476 for the variable “teaching-learning process”. The results confirmed the alternative hypothesis, validating that there is a direct and significant relationship between the management of virtual environments and the teaching-learning process. Through Spearman's correlation coefficient, a value of 0.645 was identified, with a p-value of less than 0.01 (p=0.000<0.01). This evidences a significant relationship at 1% significance level and a moderate positive strength of association between both variables.
