Abstract
VEGA CARRERA, Julen Jacqueline. Leadership and pedagogical support from the perspective of teachers in educational institutions. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504041. Epub June 19, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14787970.
Through this study, we seek to establish the relationship between managerial leadership and pedagogical accompaniment based on the perception of teachers in educational institutions in Chimbote, 2024, in accordance with the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. The research was framed in a basic study, with a quantitative approach and cross-sectional correlational design. The population was composed of 2,071 regular basic education teachers, where a sample of 200 teachers was selected through intentional non-probabilistic sampling. For data collection, two questionnaires validated by expert judgment and a pilot test were used, obtaining reliability indices of 0.963 for the directive leadership variable and 0.947 for the pedagogical accompaniment variable. The analyses carried out using Spearman's Rho regression and correlation test confirmed a positive and high correlation (r = 0.867, p = 0.000) between both variables, supporting the alternative hypothesis. These findings highlight the need to implement programs to strengthen competencies and managerial leadership as a key strategy, in order to guarantee quality pedagogical accompaniment that contributes to inclusive and quality education, in accordance with the goals of SDG 4.
