Abstract

CEPEDA QUEIPO, Katherine Claudia; MIRANDA CANTILLO, Carlos Arturo  and  ATENCIA ARRIETA, Rosario del Carmen. Educational inclusion: towards the construction of the life project in rural contexts in Colombia. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504052.  Epub June 20, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14803609.

Educational inclusion has been an important theme in contemporary pedagogical debates. Its main objective is to ensure that all students participate in and have access to the teaching and learning processes. In this sense, inclusion is conceived as a mechanism that helps students in the elaboration of their life projects, particularly in rural contexts where the challenges are more evident. Therefore, this article carries out a systematic analysis of how educational inclusion could support life projects in rural Colombian communities. To achieve this objective, a systematic review of the literature was carried out, following the PRISMA protocol. An exhaustive search was carried out in the Sciencedirect and Google Scholar databases, selecting 15 articles that met the established inclusion criteria. The studies analysed made it possible to analyse the impact of rural environments on the processes of educational inclusion and on the development of life projects of young people in precarious conditions. The results showed that the particular characteristics of these environments, such as socioeconomic, pedagogical and curricular limitations, represent significant challenges to achieve effective inclusion and strengthen students' life projects.

Keywords : rural educational inclusion; life project; educational equity.
