FLORES ARRIOLA, Adriana Lorena; MUNOZ FELIX, Alan Pier y DE LA CRUZ OLIVARES, Hilda Rosa. Analysis of vocation from identity and teaching professionalization in higher education. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504055. Epub 20-Jun-2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14827666.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the teaching vocation from the perspective of professionalization and motivation. This analysis was carried out using a qualitative approach that included a systematic review of the literature using the Prisma method. The sample consisted of 31 articles taken from indexed journals. The main results showed that education is the basis with a central criterion to redeem a country; every individual must be a bearer of values with a vision beyond borders, from a solid vocation. The study allowed us to conclude that the teaching vocation favors identification with the profession of educator. Although the necessary studies to obtain a license are carried out at the university, this situation comes from a natural inclination that allows the teacher to teach with enthusiasm and commitment. Motivation supports the training process, which contributes to achieving the expected intellectual performance and to an integral development in various aspects of life.
