Abstract
MANRIQUE ANAZGO, Eliana Mercedes. Effects of an inclusive education program on teacher performance. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504065. Epub June 25, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14847715.
The objective of this research work was to determine the effects of the application of the "Inclusive Teachers in Action" program on the improvement of teacher performance with inclusive students in public educational institutions during the year 2023. The aim was to optimize the profile of teachers for inclusive education, strengthen their teaching competencies in contexts of sociocultural diversity and develop their capacities for inclusive pedagogy. For the implementation of the program, a population of 24 teachers from public educational institutions in Chimbote was determined, belonging to the initial, primary and secondary education levels. The sample was census-based, including all participants. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, explanatory and with a pre-experimental design. A 20-item Likert questionnaire was used, validated by four experts. For data analysis, the Wilcoxon test was applied, whose results were significant, showing differences between the previous and subsequent test after the application of the program. Consequently, the null hypothesis was rejected and the research hypothesis was accepted, concluding that the program had significant effects after the execution of the ten workshops given to the teachers.
