Abstract
CORONADO HUANACO, Israel; MARTINEZ HORNA, Diana Jaqueline and VILCAPOMA LARA, Narcio Felimon. GeoGebra software as a technical tool in university mathematics teaching. Revista InveCom [online]. 2025, vol.5, n.4, e504080. Epub June 12, 2025. ISSN 2739-0063. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15114455.
The education system recognizes the importance of integrating technological tools into pedagogical techniques to improve the teaching-learning process. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of GeoGebra software on mathematics learning in university students. The research was carried out through a systematic review of the literature, following the guidelines of the PRISMA method (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). The search for information was carried out in the Scopus database, using keywords such as GeoGebra, meaningful learning, mathematics and university education. The results of the study include a description of the characteristics of GeoGebra, the relevance of meaningful learning, the role of ICT in university teaching and the impact of technological tools in the teaching of mathematics. Finally, the findings indicate that GeoGebra improves mathematical comprehension, allowing students to perform more in-depth analyses in less time, which favors their academic performance and prepares them to apply their mathematical skills in the professional field.
Keywords : GeoGebra; meaningful learning; mathematics.
