The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between municipal administration and disaster rHayisk management in Lima during the year 2022. A basic methodology was used, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and descriptive-correlational level, using the hypothetical-deductive method. For data collection, questionnaires validated by expert judgment were applied, whose reliability was determined through Cronbach's alpha coefficient, obtaining values of 0.877 and 0.745, respectively. The sample was made up of 80 inhabitants of the Lima region, selected through non-probabilistic sampling. Statistical analyses showed that municipal administration has a significant influence on disaster risk management. The contrast test indicated that the logistic model presented the following results: Disaster risk: χ2=29,696; p<0.05. Disaster hazards: χ2=42,069; p<0.05. Vulnerability: χ2=10.921; p<0.05. Risk management: χ2=30,715; p<0.05. These findings confirm the existence of a significant relationship between municipal administration and disaster risk management, demonstrating its influence on the reduction of threats, vulnerabilities and risks in the municipal context.
